Learning

Chocolate - Poetry

This week the students virtual met slam poet Giovanni Esposito also know as 'Spoz' and he shared with them how he comes up with ideas and rhyme for his poetry. He then helped us to write a class rap about chocolate. Head to the class blogs to see how our students then created poetry and turned them into raps of their own!

Music in the Primary School - Parent Workshop

Our Music specialists will be offering an excellent Parent Workshop on Tuesday March 15th “Music in the Primary School…Opportunities for Your Child’.

It will be run online by Ms Lisa, Mr Charlie and Ms Rachel.

Well Being

Toys in School

The children are now allowed to bring in small toys to play with at playtime and lunchtime. Please help you child to ensure they choose a suitable toy.

 Electronics toys are not allowed.

Keeping Children at Home

If your child is feeling unwell, has a fever, or has any flu like symptoms, please do not send them into school.

If a child is sent to the school nurse with a fever, runny nose, cough, or sore throat, you will be asked to collect them from school.

Your support with this is vital and very much appreciated.

Birthdays

Children may bring in a special treat to share with the class on their birthday.

Please contact the class teacher to arrange a suitable time.

  • Individual brownies, cupcakes and cookies are easy for your child to give out.
  • All birthday treats must be nut free.

Please do not bring in gifts for the class, either for birthdays, or on other special celebration days.
