Learning

Term 1A

Please visit our Curriculum Pages for more information about learning in Year 4.

PE - It's Fun in the Pool!

A huge thank-you to our PE team and swim coaches who helped to organise an amazing swimming gala on Thursday. Perseverance and determination was shown by all of our wonderful Year 4 students in the water.

The new blocks of learning for our students will begin on Tuesday the 27th of October.

Swimming lessons remain the same but basketball will change to athletics.

Loi Krathong - Friday 30th October

Students are invited to come to school dressed in traditional dress on this day. If you need some guidance on where to find a Thai outfit for this, you can shop online at Shopee children Thai costume. If you prefer to look for things in person, Pratunam area , Tesco, Big C or small shops at local markets are worth exploring.

Parent Home Language Helpers

The Parent Home Language Helpers (PHLH) is an initiative in which parents support the learning through the use of their Home Language. For example, our wonderful PHLH are great at coming in and sharing a story in their home language, or helping learners understand more about other languages and cultures.

If you would like to be part of the PHLH, please leave your details here and we will get back to you.

If you have any questions, or would like to find out more about this, please contact Ms. Ondine at onul@patana.ac.th

Uniform

As part of their Patana school uniform, our students wear plain black shoes with no coloured trim.

If your child is still coming to school in coloured trainers, please purchase plain black school shoes over the half term break.

Shoes should support healthy foot growth.

All shoes require at least a strap to keep the shoe firmly in place. No ballet pumps.

Children can wear lace-ups if they can tie up their laces independently.

Plain black school shoes can be sourced in many shops and department stores.

If your child has to wear other shoes for a specific reason, please let us know.
