Recycled Art Resources

Over the next two weeks our students will be creating 3D sculptures using recycled materials. We currently need the following items:

If you recycle any of these at home please can they be sent into school with the students.

Residential

Week 1 of the Primary Residentials leave for Hua Hin on Tuesday. Please find links to the residential blogs below:

On Monday (15.02.21) 4L, 4W, 4A & 4K will have a residential orientation day in school, when they will take part in team building activities. Students in these classes should:

- Wear Non- Uniform (wear shorts and a t-shirt)

- Bring their Swimming kit

- Bring a hat, a water bottle and a snack for break time as usual

All medication must be handed to our school nurses. No students should be carrying any medication. It is recommended that medication is handed into the Primary Nurses office a week in advance of the departure date.

No electronic devices or ‘tech wearables’ on Primary Residentials

We expect that all electronic devices are kept at home during your child’s Primary Residential.

This includes GPS trackers, mobile phones and smart watches of any brand.

Any electronic devices or tech wearables will be removed for safekeeping by the accompanying staff and returned to you on our return.

Please give yourselves permission to take a short break from parenting duties whilst our wonderful teachers look after your child.

Pocket Money on Residential not required

Due to current restrictions there will no longer be an opportunity for students to spend money on residential. Therefore they do not need to bring money or wallet / purse with them.

Snacks on Residential

Students cannot bring snacks on to the buses to eat whilst traveling, however they can pack snacks in their suitcase to eat during the time away.

Snacks must be nut free

PE - Term 2

Patana PE kit (including water bottle) required for all activities. Please remember football boots and sunhat for Teeball.

TGFU = Teaching Games for Understanding (team games).

Music - Musician of the Month

As some of you know, each month we focus on a particular musician and listen to/discuss their music. The musicians are chosen with consideration to diversity of gender, nationality and music style. 

This month is Yo-Yo Ma, a Chinese-American cellist and United nations Messenger of Peace.
