We are kind, compassionate and respectful
Children throughout the Primary School wore yellow or bright colours and their biggest grins today as part of our 'Smile Day' celebrations.
Children in Year 4 visited the 'Smile Tile' gallery, a collection of art work produced by the whole Primary school as a response to the question
'What makes you smile?'
All donations collected will be given to Operation Smile.
A note from the Principal
Dear Parents,
This week may have been short, but it was
certainly full of learning.
On Tuesday, we had a wonderful parent workshop presented by Mr. Max Hopwood on
creating playable games. I was thrilled to see our students enthusiastically
supporting their parents and demonstrating the characteristics of effective
learning in the process. If you missed this workshop - we have more engaging
sessions planned, including Ms. Rachel Stead's music curriculum session next
Tuesday from 8am to 9am.
Today, we celebrated Smile Day, a meaningful event in which we learn about and fundraise for Operation Smile. Our students worked collaboratively on a Smile Day mosaic, designing their own tiles based on what brings them joy. I encourage you to take a look at this beautiful mosaic displayed in our Primary snack bar area.
Lastly, we are all looking forward to our annual Fun Day on Saturday, which our fantastic PTG has been working tirelessly to organise. I will be there in the afternoon and I hope to see you all there too!
Thank you for your continued support and involvement in our Patana community.

We have now started our second unit learning the recorder. Please do remind your child/ren to bring in their recorder for their weekly class. All our music learning can be found on the recorder resource page here on Firefly for children to practice at home. Our focus this term is a Beatles song - 8 days a week. Should you have any questions, please email lima@patana.ac.th
Many thanks and happy music making!

Important reminder! All students will be learning Teeball in Term 2. Football boots are required for this unit.
As Year 4 PE lessons are before break time, the children can arrive at school in their PE kits (or swimming kits underneath their PE kits). They will then need to change into their uniforms at the end of the PE lesson.
