We are protected, safe and secure
We've had a wonderful time on our residential visits, with so many new and exciting experiences. The Year 4 teachers are so proud of the student's resilience and 'can do' attitude, well done Year 4!
A note from the Principal
This week, our Key Stage 2 students continue with their residential trips. After a short hiatus, it has been fantastic to get our students out again and there was much excitement as we waved them off on the buses on Monday and Tuesday.
Experiences outside the classroom have a profound impact on students' growth and development, and they can provide opportunities for them to learn new skills, build relationships, and broaden their horizons. It’s been an action packed week for sure and I suspect there will be lots of tired friends (and teachers) this weekend!
Across the school, it has been notably quiet with so many of our students away on camp. I have especially noticed this in the Primary canteen, where I have lunch daily. I love this part of my routine, as it’s an opportunity for me to informally chat with the children; to gently observe the comings and goings of our lunch time experience; and to enjoy the menu on offer. As a vegetarian, I am particularly pleased when it is vegetable lasagne day!
Wishing you a wonderful weekend.
