How Do Students Use Their Home Learning Code?

From now onwards we will be asking you to share your learning through our Seesaw platform. You will also be able to find the tasks there too

Home learning Codeshave been sent home from the Primary office.

How Do Students Use Their Home Learning Code?

1. Students go to https://app.seesaw.me on a computer in Chrome or Firefox browser. Or install the Seesaw Class App on an iOS and Android device.
2. Students tap “I’m a Student”.
3. Students scan their code using Seesaw’s built-in QR code reader or type in their text code to access their Seesaw account.

How am I going to share my learning? 

 Share your learning with an adult at your home by sharing your story about when someone was kind to you and what you have learnt about kindness and how it makes you feel. Make kindness notes.

Literacy Live Lesson

LI: Can I write complex sentences and use direct speech.

Learning Task: Wait for your teacher to start the live lesson.

How am I going to share my learning? Access last Thursday’s Literacy activity on Seesaw. The title has been changed to today’s date.

Instructions:

After the introduction, go to Seesaw.

Your teacher has given you feedback about the writing you completed on slide 1.

1. Read the feedback.

2. Copy your writing from slide 1 and paste it onto slide 2.

3. Edit and improve your writing on slide 2 using your teacher’s feedback.

Music Learning

LI: Can I develop my musical skills?

This week you will be using the choice board again. There are some new activities added as well as the tasks from last week.

1. First, watch the instructions video on Seesaw

2 Next, read the options on the list, open the choice board and choose your activity

3. Finally, share your learning on the Seesaw app (Video, written comment or voice message)

Top Tip - ask a parent or sibling to film you on a separate device than the one you are using if playing along with a backing track. You can choose more than one activity. Some tasks will take longer than others.
