Living our Values
We are critical and reflective thinkers
Upcoming Events
Chinese New Year
We will not be able to have a live whole school Chinese New Year Assembly with Lion Dancing on Friday February 4th, due to our current restrictions. However, we would like to invite the students to celebrate with us by wearing Chinese traditional clothes OR red and gold colours) on this day. There will be a special online Y3 assembly and some special activities in class too.
Inventors Day
Put Friday 18th February into your diary!
On this day, we are going to have 'Inventor's Day'. Year 3 students are invited to dress up as:
- an inventor or
- an invention
If they choose to dress up as an inventor, they could also make and bring in an example of their invention (e.g. a homemade calculator or homemade phone).
They will need to find out all about their invention:
- who invented it?
- why did they invent it?
- where was it invented?
Primary Photographs
Over the next two weeks, class and individual photographs will be taken. The schedule is as follows:
Monday 17th January - 3D, 3C, 3W, 3J, 3K, 3P and 3A
Wednesday 26th - 3M
Global Citizenship
Did you know that you can send used batteries into school to be properly disposed of? Each classroom has a collection point which is then taken to a central location to be disposed of.
Dance Extravaganza
The Dance Academy's annual dance showcase better known as the Dance Extravaganza is set to take place on 6th and 7th of June 2022 and the sign up has begun! The academy uses ECA Block 3 & 4 to prepare for the show. To sign up for the show, students must sign up for Block 3 via parent gateway. The Academy coaches are committed to creating a wonderful show for both primary and secondary students. The one thing dancers of all levels love and deserve is their moment on stage. Due to covid19, this wonderful opportunity couldn't be made available as we couldn't host this major event for the past two years. Any ECAs which are cancelled due to Covid will be refunded as will costume fees if the show does not go ahead. Just like with all things learning and education, we do believe dance is best experienced face to face and supporting kids who love dancing/stage to do just that, whilst still maintaining covid19 related protocols is our aim this year. Dance can have a major positive impact on mental and physical health so let's get moving together!

General Information
The current Hybrid CSL model continues. We wish to support our students’ learning the best we can, but we are moving to a CSL model for the following situations:
The student’s class/year group is closed for 3 days because of a Covid+ case/s.
The student is in 14 day isolation because they are Covid+ or a high risk contact.
- The student has been overseas since the beginning of the academic year (August 2021) and is not able to return.
The situations in which we will not provide Hybrid CSL for are:
The student is on holiday or visiting family, including leaving school mid-term to travel.
The student is generally unwell. This includes symptomatic Covid+ cases. Once the student is well again, CSL will be provided for the remainder of their isolation period.
If a student is identified as low risk or no risk.
Other circumstances will be considered on a case by case basis.
For queries, please contact the Primary Office.
