Well-Being

Morning Routines

7am-7.30am Routines: From 7am, Year 3 and 4 students are supervised in the area outside the Y3/4 building. It is calm activities only due to limited space; nannies and parents and often younger children.

At 7.30am a whistle signals children (and adults) to stand still and quietly. On the second whistle, children collect their bags and walk to class. If you join us in the mornings, we appreciate your support with our expectations.

Friendship Issues

It is quite common for children to have difficulties with their friends from time to time. At Patana, our aim is to support all the children to make good choices so they are happy and safe at school.

If your child is experiencing any problems please contact your child's class teacher who will then guide and support the students.

Parent Home Language Helpers:

We are looking for parents who would like to be Home Language Helpers (PHLH). The PHLH will help to create opportunities for learners to experience their Home Language within their learning. This means that you could volunteer to use your Home Language to read a book with learners who speak the same language, or to spend time in the learning environment exploring and discovering in your native tongue. If you are interested in joining, please add your name to our Parent Home Language Helper database here or contact Ondine at onul@patana.ac.th if you have any questions.

General Information

Nut free Primary School

For some children, any exposure to nuts is potentially very dangerous and can be life threatening. We do not allow any nuts to be brought into Primary. This includes snacks on school transport, birthday treats and food items brought in for any other special days. Some treats, such as macarons, contain hidden nuts. Please check the ingredients before sending into school. If snacks or birthday treats are found to contain nuts, we will contact you and either dispose of the food safely or ask you to collect and take back home.

Message from Thai PTG

This year, our theme for the Thai parade contingent will be Muay Thai (Thai children are still able to wear any Thai traditional costume). To support this endeavor, the Thai Parents Group has prepared Muay Thai costumes (shirts and pants), which may be pre-ordered in the link below (acceptance of orders will close on Friday, Oct.11, 2019). Samples will be available for preview at the PTG room on Wed-Fri, Oct.9-11, from 3pm onwards.
