A note from the Principal
Dear Parents,
This week in Primary has been nothing short of spectacular, with our Year 6
students delivering an unforgettable performance of Madagascar the Musical!
Over four captivating shows, they showcased remarkable stage presence,
confidence, acting prowess, singing talent, humour, and outstanding teamwork.
After six months of dedicated preparation, their hard work culminated in a
truly remarkable show.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the Creative Arts team, including Charlie, Rachel, and Lisa, and especially to Ms. Lexi, whose tireless dedication, passion, and enthusiasm brought our inaugural Year 6 production to life! Bravo and congratulations to all involved!

Swimming Gala is ON!
Our Y3 swimming gala is next week on Thursday 16th May!
For the gala please ensure your child has their swimming kit, googles, hat, towel and flip flops. They will need to come to school in their uniform - thanks!
On swimming days the students need to come into school in uniform, with their swimming kits in their bags.
For swimming, they need a black school swim suit , rash vest (optional), towel, goggles and a swim hat (for all hair longer than shoulder length).
Please find below the PE curriculum for Year 3 students starting W/C 14th May.
Just a reminder that all children must bring their school
uniform to change into after their PE lessons. Any further questions

RSE (relationship and sex) presentations for Primary Parents
In Term 3, we introduce age appropriate RSE units as part of our Personal, Social and Health Education curriculum in Years 1 to 6. Please see the slides from the presentation here:

Next week we will be looking at human babies, what they need to grow and how families change when a baby arrives. We will be using the baby photos for this lesson so please ensure you have sent yours in!
Recycling Plastic bottle tops
We are championing an initiative to recycle plastic bottle caps. They must be type 2 plastic; this information can be found on the underside of the bottle cap.
Please bring in any clean caps that you have at home and put them in the green box in the shared area. We will collect them together and arrange for them to be sent to be recycled, where they will be turned into tables for local schools.
Every small step we each take makes a difference.

Recycling
Please can you send in any cardboard boxes, cereal packets or card tubes. We would like to use them to create some fabulous recycled sculptures!
