Welcome to the Learning

If you were unable to attend the 'Welcome to the Learning' session this week, a recording is saved here.

NEW CSL provision

The current Hybrid CSL model will continue until the end of Term 1. At the moment, we wish to support our students’ learning the best we can, but we are moving to a CSL model for the following situations:

  • The student’s class/year group is closed for 3 days because of a Covid+ case/s.

  • The student is in 14 day isolation because they are Covid+ or a high risk contact.

  • The student has been overseas since the beginning of the academic year (August 2021) and is not able to return before 10th January 2022.

The situations in which we will not provide Hybrid CSL for are:

  • The student is on holiday or visiting family, including leaving school mid-term to travel.
  • The student is generally unwell. This includes symptomatic Covid+ cases. Once the student is well again, will be provided for the remainder of their isolation period.
  • If a student is identified as low risk or no risk.

Other circumstances will be considered on a case by case basis.

For queries, please contact the Primary Office.

Birthday celebrations

Evan 27th November 2C

Axel 2nd December 2T

Arya 3rd December 2E

If you would like to send in some birthday treats for your child to share with their class, please arrange a day with your child's class teacher.

We will only be able to manage individual items like brownies or cupcakes. Please remember we are a nut free Primary School.

Your child's class teacher will try to get a photo to share with you.

Year 2 Christmas Shoebox Appeal

Year 2 will once again collect Christmas Shoeboxes in support of our charity Children of the Forest. The shoe boxes will be donated to children who live at the Children of the Forest School in Kanchanaburi, a charity that supports homeless children with education, healthcare and welfare. We would like to give each child at the school a gift from us and are hoping that you might be kind enough to put together a shoebox. Please can we ask that you stick to the list so that all of the children get a similar gift in order to be fair.

  • Toothbrush and toothpaste
  • Soap
  • Face cloth
  • Coloured pencils or crayons
  • Colouring book
  • Small packet of sweets
  • Small snack (eg. small pack of potato chips)
  • Small packet of biscuits
  • Small toy suitable for either a boy or girl.

We would love for the shoe boxes to be wrapped in Christmas paper but request that the lid is wrapped separately and the boxes NOT sealed.

Please send your shoe box in to school between Friday 3rd and Friday 10th December.

Picking up after an ECA

If your child takes school transport home, they will be walked to the buses by their ECA providers. If you collect your child after an ECA, they will be brought back to the blue area (near the Primary Office at the end of the walkway) to meet you there.
