Well-being

Playground access

Please note, no Year 1 and Year 2 students can play on the playground climbing frames before school.

Your child may use the climbing frames after school with close supervision.

Learning

If your child is unable to swim, please send them in with a note explaining their reason for not swimming.  Your child can take the note to swimming with them.   Your support with this is much appreciated.

Global Citizenship

In Term 2 when we return, our first week will include us looking at pollution and what small steps we can take to address this problem.

If you travel anywhere over the holidays and you see pollution, can you take the opportunity to talk to your child about it?  Those of you going to the beach are (sadly) likely to see pollution washing up each day- this is great chance to have a conversation with your child about the possible causes of this pollution and possible solutions.

  • No Nuts!
  • Please ensure that any food items sent in do not contain nuts, or any traces of nuts. Please check the ingredients.
  • No candles
  • The birthday treats must be individual portions – teachers will not be able to cut pieces of cake to be given out.

Please liaise directly with your child’s class teacher to inform them if you will be bringing in treats for your child’s birthday.  Treats can be dropped off before 8:00 and after 2:00.
