Living our school values:

We are curious!

We have had an awesome week celebrating our Primary School Science Week.  Here are a few highlights.

A note from the Principal

A very warm welcome to Term 1B and a new feature in our weekly newsletter. It has been a wonderful week in Primary, with some very exciting happenings across the school.

On Tuesday, we were delighted to welcome back our Tiny Tigers after a break of two years. At our first session, we had 12 lovely young learners join us and they thoroughly enjoyed exploring their new surroundings and making friends with our turtles!

We were also amazed by the work of our budding atomic Scientists, as supported by our special visitors Ruben and Ian. It has been an action-packed Science Week, which has included a parent workshop, assemblies, coaching for our Science advocates and high quality Science lessons for our students.

Proud of you Patana!

Sarah McCormack

Learning

Our next theme for learning is 'Lost in Lego'.  We will begin this next week.

Please visit the Y1 Curriculum page to find out more.

3 Way Conferences - Thursday 10th November

Our booking system closes at 6pm today.

If you have not managed to book, then please contact your child’s class teacher directly.

General Information

Loi Krathong

Loi Krathong is on Tuesday 8th November 2022. We would love to see the children in their traditional dress or Thai costumes on the day.

If you would like to purchase a new outfit online, please see below for some helpful links, otherwise, you can explore a local market or a superstore nearby.

Thank you for your support.

Snacks - Nut Free School

We provided tasty and nutritious snacks each day for the students in class. As some of our children have allergies, please ensure any food sent to school does not contain any sort of nut.

Toys

Students should not be bringing any toys or personal items to school. This includes card games such as Pokemon.

Personal belongings such as these can cause upset should they become lost and therefore should be left at home.

Birthday celebrations

We cannot give out party bags or gifts - please keep these for any sort of celebration that you do out of school.

If you would like to send in some birthday treats for your child to share with their class, please arrange a day with your child's class teacher. We will only be able to manage individual items like brownies, doughnuts or cupcakes. Please remember we are a nut-free Primary School.

The following students are celebrating this week.

1S Narisa [Eve] 01-Nov-16
