A note from the Principal
As
December arrives, as does the festive season at Bangkok Patana school! Our
Christmas trees are now on proud display, and it was lovely to see our FS1
students going on a ‘tree hunt’ this week. Across our wonderful campus, the
sense of excitement and anticipation for the holidays in building and there is
never a more magical time to be in school.
This week, we have been fortunate to engage in some high-quality professional
learning with two phenomenal leaders Diana Osagie and Angela Brown. Motivating
and inspiring our staff to be the best they can be is intrinsic to Patana’s
ethos and culture. We never stop learning!

Swimming
The swimming team have been busy planning fun, active and engaging lessons for our KS1 students. This a reminder that our swimming lessons are an important part of our curriculum, especially for physical development, water confidence, and water safety.
If for any reason your child cannot swim, please inform your class teacher, and include a medical note so that they can inform Miss Zoe (PE curriculum lead) and the swim team.
Should you have any concerns about your child's swimming please do contact us and we can arrange a meeting with Miss Zoe to discuss these concerns further.
Global Citizenship
Thanks for the donations received so far. We will continue to collect these for the next two weeks. The first lot will be sent this week.
General Information
Dear parents,
As part of my IB Business project, I am reviewing and supporting the school in identifying how we can best promote and improve our school shop. I would greatly appreciate your support by completing this short survey with your invaluable feedback.
Thank you in advance for your support with this.

Snacks - Nut Free School
We provided tasty and nutritious snacks each day for the students in class. As some of our children have allergies, please ensure any food sent to school does not contain any sort of nut.
Birthday celebrations
We cannot give out party bags or gifts - please keep these for any sort of celebration that you do out of school.
If you would like to send in some birthday treats for your child to share with their class, please arrange a day with your child's class teacher. We will only be able to manage individual items like brownies, doughnuts or cupcakes. Please remember we are a nut-free Primary School.
This student is celebrating their birthday this week.
