Living our school values:

We are unique

Reminder - no ECAs next week.

A note from the Principal

This week truly epitomised our strategic theme of : we are unique.

From our Loy Krathong celebrations on Tuesday; our country spotlight stalls; and a Y3 – Y6 assembly on diversity and inclusion, you could really get a sense of what a special place Patana is.

On Thursday, students had the opportunity to share their unique learning journey in our parent-teacher meetings and 3-way conferences. How marvellous it was to witness students proudly showcasing their progress across all subjects and specialisms; taking time to enjoy our beautiful campus; and engaging with all the teaching staff special to them. I have never seen a more wonderful example of connecting students, teachers and parents together.

Proud of you Patana!

Sarah McCormack

Learning

From the ICT Team

Dear Families,

It was wonderful to see so many of you during the 3-way conference open day and we hope you got a glimpse as to what the children get up to in their IT lessons each week.

As there were so many visitors, we were not able to speak to everyone, so if you do have any questions, please feel free to email me.

Max Hopwood- maho@patana.ac.th

Lots of people were interested in the resources and tools on show so I thought it would be helpful to share some links for you to explore with your children at home.

Global Citizenship

Next week we are looking forward to International Day.

The day will start as normal.  Please drop your child off at their class.  Parents are welcome to join the parade.  If you are taking your child to the parade, please make sure that you let their class teacher know.

This is a video we shared with the students today helping them to see what to expect.  For those of you who have never seen an International Day here at Patana, it may be useful for you too.

General Information

A DEIJ workshop

DEIJ- Diversity, Equality, Inclusion and Justice Workshop is an introductory workshop on DEIJ hosted by PTG & Cindy Adair, Cross Campus Principal CPL on November 24th at 8AM, Cross Campus Staff Room.

This workshop will aim to share the start of our journey as a school to ensure that every community member (regardless of race, gender, nationality, body type or sexuality) feels protected, safe and secure as well as a sense of belonging.

Please RSVP with the following link: https://forms.gle/LtQeKyjVbEA5RdXZ6

Snacks - Nut Free School

We provided tasty and nutritious snacks each day for the students in class. As some of our children have allergies, please ensure any food sent to school does not contain any sort of nut.

Birthday celebrations

We cannot give out party bags or gifts - please keep these for any sort of celebration that you do out of school.

If you would like to send in some birthday treats for your child to share with their class, please arrange a day with your child's class teacher. We will only be able to manage individual items like brownies, doughnuts or cupcakes. Please remember we are a nut-free Primary School.

The following students are celebrating this week.
