Awards Programmes

The items below are just  aflavour of what a TigerSahrk can aim for within the swim programme at Patana.

IMX (USA) T Shirts

The IMX Awards encourage participation in swim meets on a regular basis AND to encourage swimmers to take on a range of events and distances.

We offer a T Shirt to swimmers at the end of the academic year who have completed a range of age appropriate events. 

The IMX Programme has two levels: IM Ready and IM Extreme to challenge more able competitive swimmers.

BISAC/ SEASAC / FOBISIA

Each swimmer who represents the Bangkok Patana TigerSharks at FOBISIA will receive the following (some items will be billed through the event billing)

FOBISIA - Team member white Tigersharks swim cap.

BISAC -  a flash badge to sew onto their TigerSharks T Shirt, and a Team member black swim hat.

SEASAC - a flash badge to sew onto their TigerSharks T Shirt, and a Team member black swim hat. Team Captains usually arrange special issue uniform items. Swimmers are also issued with a SEASAC certificate for their individual portfolios.


ASA (British) Rainbow Distance Awards

In Term 1 we conduct a distance swimming test which measures the distance each swimmer can complete of non-stop endurance pace freestyle. Swimmers are rewarded with certificates and badges. Distances awarded are from 400m up to 5000m. Squads have between 30mins and 80mins to swim depending on their squad.

 

ASA (British) Speed Awards

From our own Patana events we conduct a series of internal results and compare our swimmers times against the ASA Time Standards from British Swimming. Swimmers who achieve the following receive ASA Speed certificates and badges:

Two or more AAA times = Gold Speed Award

Two or more AA times = Silver Speed Award

Two or more A times = Bronze Speed Award
