Khan Academy - What is Binary and Data?

Step 1: On a piece of paper, write down what you think binary is. Write also what it looks like and maybe give an example.

Step2: You'll will need to put your search skills to the test for this one!

Where and how is binary used in a computer? There are many, many ways it is used. My example would be how the CPU uses lots and lots of transistors that send data back and forth inside it to tell other parts of the computer what to do and how to do it.

Step 3: Search online for answers and then write out a quick script of what you are going to say.

Practice once or twice. Then go to FlipGrid below to record your answer.

                          1. Flip grid wasn't working for me ,but i still found all of the the answers.
                            what is binary?binary is a base 2 number made up of only 2 numbers, 0 and 1.
                            what is it used in? it is used in digital computers and electronic devices.
                            what is binary used for in computers? binary codes are used for various methods of encoding data.
