You should have received email communication from your class teacher regarding your story time this morning. Please re-familiarize yourself with the reminders below:

Don't forget, that during our story time:

we make sure a grown up is always nearby
we are fully dressed
we don't eat whilst on a call
we wait for our class teacher to start the call

Welcome back, little scientists! Today we are going to use our scientific skills to investigate the weather. You may have noticed lots of stormy skies and rainy days lately. Maybe today you’d like to find out a little more about weather in the rainy season. Or, choose an area of weather learning that interests you! Don’t forget to observe, research, make guesses, and test just like a scientist!

Let’s make a healthy fruit smoothie. Using fruits of your choice, chop them up, blend them together and enjoy! I wonder if you can tell me about your healthy fruits and why they are good for you?

Today, we would like you to play a game. Do you have any card or board games that you like to play?

Board and card games are great to help us learn to count in different ways; take turns; think strategically; focus; and learn to deal with disappointment. They really get our brains working whilst we have fun together with our families!

If you don’t have a board or card game at home already, here are some printable resources. You could also make your own board game or Snap cards using some of the resources below, or with your own ideas.

วันนี้เราจะมาเล่นเกมส์กันค่ะ
เด็กๆมีการ์ดไพ่หรือบอร์ดเกมส์ที่เด็กๆชอบมั้ยคะ

บอร์ดเกมส์และการ์ดไพ่เป็นเกมส์ที่ดีที่ช่วยสอนให้เรานับเลขในหลายหลายวิธีค่ะ มีการสลับเปลี่ยนคนเล่นไปมา มีการคิดอย่างมีระบบระเบียบ มีความตัังใจ และเรียนรู้ที่จะจัดการกับความรู้สึกเศร้าผิดหวังเวลาที่เล่นแพ้ เป็นกิจกรรมที่ช่วยให้สมองเราได้ทำงานเป็นอย่างดีขณะที่เล่นเกมส์กับคนในครอบครัวค่ะ

ถ้าเด็กๆไม่มีเกมส์แบบนี้ที่บ้านก็สามารถปริ้นท์จากสื่อออนไลน์ต่างๆก็ได้ค่ะ หรือสามารถทำเกมส์ขึ้นเองหรือทำ สแนปการ์ด โดยใช้ของที่อยู่ตามลิสข้างล่างนี้หรือทำขึ้นเองก็ได้ค่ะ
