Good morning FS1 and FS2: click the links to find the video from your class teacher!
We have had so much wonderful learning shared from home that we have now created a 'Sharing Our Learning' gallery on the main page so we can keep on adding more!
These are some ideas for learning at home today. A reminder that you don't have to do all (or any) of these today. Maintaining a routine and a connection with school are the most important things!
This Week Foundation Stage Children are going to become...
If you have missed previous learning this week you can go back and watch all the different stages by scrolling down the home screen to the previous pages!
Foundation Stage Collaborative Story Completed!
Watch Ms Clare’s final video telling the whole FS collaborative story - thank you for voting every day and helping to choose our characters, setting, event and ending!
Storytelling Stage 5 - 'Little Authors!'
How did the show go yesterday? Did you receive any reviews from the audience? Today, you can try a different way to record your invented story: in a book! Again, first you could do some research about what books have - what are their features? For example, look at the front cover and notice what you see there. Can you use any of these ideas in your book today?
Watch Ms Kirsten modelling how to look out for ideas to use in making a book.
Watch Ma Jaree and Ms Job modelling how to make a book.

Or your book might look completely different - it’s up to you because you are the creative author!
Favourite Stories
What’s your favourite story in the world? Which one do you love to read over and over again? Which book would you give to your best friend to read? If you’d like an additional challenge for the weekend: can you make a short video to tell us what your favourite story is and why? You might tell us about the characters, setting, event and ending. We’d love to hear about your favourite books and your friends might be inspired to read it too! Click on the link to below to hear your FS adults talk about their favourite stories.
Once you get to the page, click on a picture of any Teaching Assistant to find out what their favourite story is!

If you want to watch again, here is Ms Sarah modelling how to use our pictures cards to continue to invent her own story, using a story S to plot it.

Physical Development with Ms Zoe!
Join Ms Zoe and get fit and healthy to the song head, shoulders, knees and toes. You will also need some special friends (soft toys) to help you complete the extra challenge! Good luck.
Phonics!
FS1 - Look who's back!
Invite your sock puppet friend to eat lunch with you today. Tell your friend about what you’re eating and what tools you use to help you eat. Remember, your friend will be confused if you don’t use his/her sound talk language. Let’s tell our friend what we use to eat dinner. A fork and a spoon. Tell your friend in sound talk language (f-or-k, sp-oo-n); let’s tell our friend what we use to drink water. A cup. (C-u-p)
Keep your friend around over the weekend. Practise and experiment with your friend’s language during different times of the day - inside or outside!

Sensory play with Ms Chree!
For this sensory play add soap to water and encourage your child to freely explore the properties of soap. A hand whisk will froth up the bubbles and will be great for exercising fine motor muscles in your child’s hands and arms. You can add shampoo, bubble bath or dish washing soap, or a bar or soap, sponges, cleaning brushes, tooth brushes. To give this activity context your child could ‘wash’ items like baby clothes, face towels, cars, trucks, bikes, dolls etc.
Below are some examples for you to choose from. Choose something follows your child’s interests
