Living our values: Collaborative and Confident communicators:

Note from the Principal

3 November 2023

A note from the Principal

Dear Parents,

I hope this finds everyone well. A couple of highlights to share with you this week. On Tuesday, Peter Taylder and I presented to almost 200 parents on our vision for Assessment and Reporting. It was a great session, where we looked at the new CAT 4 data and the upcoming changes to the report templates. The powerpoint can be found on the Parent Gateway and here. There will be another workshop exploring this theme on Tuesday, 28 November.

In our assemblies we have been considering ‘what makes us special’. We had a sneak peek at some of some of our 243 student FlipGrid videos (so far!) and considered how we can all contribute to our community of kindness. We love when parents join our assemblies as it helps us to reinforce our values and gives parents an opportunity to see what we are learning. This is a wonderful story on belonging and we would love everyone to re-watch it at home.

This busy Principal is off to Kuala Lumpur today for the Fobisia leadership conference!
