Alternative to Residential week -14th February

As you know, we will not be attending our residential visit this year. We aim to make this week as enjoyable as possible for all students in Year 6. As a result, please could children come to school in PE kit every day next week (except Wednesday as it is a public holiday).  Each class will also be allocated a team colour for team games. On these days your child should wear a tshirt in their team colour:

Global Citizenship

Events In The World

If you would like your child to be aware of world news and events but find it too overwhelming, have a look at Newsround for a more age appropriate version of current events.

You can also access First News and The Week along with a wide selection of other magazines in our Primary Library. Being aware of current events really will help your child to make connections with a range of themes when reading in class.
