Learning

3 Way Conferences

We are looking forward to our upcoming 3 Way conferences, after the Songkran break.

 Please ensure that your child knows on which day their conference/meeting is and how they are going home each day (on the bus, with you, a relative or nanny);

There is no child supervision for your child/ren after 2:30pm, so please remember to make arrangements for your child to be collected from school at 2:30pm each day unless they are going home on the bus or going to a selective ECA (see list below)

ECAs and Transport during 3 Way Conference week (20th, 21st and 23rd April):

Primary Music at the Three Way Conferences

The Music team would love to see you during the 3-Way Conferences. Ms Rachel, Ms Lisa and Mr Charlie will be available to discuss any aspect of music in the Primary School. If you would like to find out more about the Music curriculum, Music ECAs, instrumental lessons or upcoming performances please come along to the Blue Area (next to the 25m pool) at any time during the conference days, no appointment is necessary. There will even be a piano/guitar on hand for some live performances.

PE Blocks from 22nd March

Blogs

To find out more about your child's learning please visit their class blog which can be found by following the link here

Junk Modelling

Please could you save any spare items from home that otherwise would be thrown out, that we can use for junk modelling. For example; empty cereal boxes, finished toilet rolls, empty milk bottles etc.

Recycling Bottle Tops

Year 6 are recycling all bottle tops in conjunction with Precious Plastics. It's a project we started in Term 1b that we would like to continue. Please send your child in with any unwanted bottle tops and they can be recycled outside 6C.

Well being

Digital Citizenship

Please continue to monitor your child's online behaviours. Students can use MS Teams to communicate respectfully with their peers; however, chats should be monitored by parents when this platform is used at home.

RSE - Relationship and Sex Education parent presentation

We would like to invite you to attend our parental presentation on 11th May in the Primary Hall. During the presentation, we will share the Year 5 and 6 curriculum learning objectives and the material that we will share with students.

Global Citizenship

Events in the world

If you would like your child to be aware of world news and events but find it too overwhelming, have a look at Newsround for a more age appropriate version of current events.

You can also access First News and The Week along with a wide selection of other magazines in our Primary Library. Being aware of current events really will help your child to make connections with a range of themes when reading in class.
