Global Citizenship
Bring, Buy and Bake Sale
Thank you to all of our students and parents for supporting our Bring, Buy and Bake Sale. We raised a staggering 70,130 baht which will be donated to supporting the Cambodian Water Well Project helping many to get access to clean water.
Being a global citizen - I am aware of what is happening in the world
Learning about the importance of our oceans.
Part of being a global citizen is being aware of what is happening in the world and how our actions have an impact on both people and the environment.
After the Christmas break, students will write a persuasive speech about protecting our oceans reflecting on their actions and how adapting these can play an important role in ensuring that we protect these vital habitats.
Here are a few interesting documentaries that students can watch over the holidays to build their background knowledge on the importance of coral reefs and how tourists can help support coral reef conservation. Please do share these with your child.
Share your beach photographs
To support our learning, if you visit the beach during the holidays, please share a photograph with us showing how you have helped to protect our coral reefs.

If you would like your child to be aware of world news and events but find it too overwhelming, have a look at Newsround for a more age appropriate version of current events.
You can also access First News and The Week along with a wide selection of other magazines in our Primary Library. Being aware of current events really will help your child to make connections with a range of themes when reading in class.

Learning
PE in 2021
In Term 2, students will take part in “Try a New Sport”
Fortnight, from 10th January-22nd January. During
these first 2 weeks back, the Primary PE team will offer a range of different
and interesting sports and activities for the children to try. Normal PE
kit will be required (including hat and water bottle). There will be a
water based option of Flippa Ball in the 25m pool, so any child wanting to try
this sport, please ensure you bring along your swim kit as well!
