Global Citizenship

The Water Crisis

Next term we will focus on a new theme of learning through which we will support our chosen Charity - 'Water Aid' and with the money we raise we hope to build water wells in Cambodia.

Event 1: Year 5 Bring Buy and Bake Sale - Date To be confirmed

Students are encouraged to bring in any old or second hand items to sell at our back sale. We need to start collecting now so that we can try to raise as much money as possible.

Students could bring things like old toys, books and games to sell at the event. All items must be in working order and should be brought to class teachers who will store them in preparation for the event.

Eco Bricks - Plastic Appeal

Our Year 2 buddies are currently looking at the idea of sustainability and are trying to build and create 'Eco Bricks'. We have volunteered to help them as they are trying to develop their outdoor classroom by using the bricks to build planters and shaded spaces.

We need your help! Students are encouraged to bring in their used plastic waste. Please ensure this washed first.
