We are motivated and engaged
This week in the primary school has been Science Week!
We've had an amazing week of taking part in scientific exploration and experiments linked to our Chocolate unit of learning.
We observed and measured the melting time of different types of chocolate, used chocolate milk, ice and salt to make chocolate ice cream and created the glucose molecules in chocolate using sticky atoms.
A note from the principal
A
very warm welcome to Term 1B and a new feature in our weekly newsletter. It has
been a wonderful week in Primary, with some very exciting happenings across the
school.
On Tuesday, we were delighted to welcome back our Tiny Tigers after a break of two years. At our first session, we had 12 lovely young learners join us and they thoroughly enjoyed exploring their new surroundings and making friends with our turtles!
We were also amazed by the work of our budding atomic Scientists, as supported by our special visitors Ruben and Ian. It has been an action-packed Science Week, which has included a parent workshop, assemblies, coaching for our Science advocates and high quality Science lessons for our students.
Proud of you Patana!
