Living our Values

We are Kind and Compassionate

It was so lovely to walk around the year group this morning and have so many students showing kindness towards each other in their learning.  Partners were helping each other edit and improve sentences and select the right challenges.

Learning

We have had a mixed response in terms of the number of parent helpers.  Some classes have as many as 8 volunteers whilst others have just one.  Because of this, we will be looking at ways to share the help across all.  Please do let us know if you are happy to help in more than one session a week.  We are particularly keen to start with help in reading and Maths.  If this is an area of strength or interest for you, can you contact Miss Kerry - keme@patana.ac.th

We appreciate any time that you are able to offer.

Global Citizenship

Our Student Environmental Council met for the first time yesterday.  There were a large number of Y4s interested in this so we will be taking different students to this throughout the year.

Their first initiative to work on was challenging us all to remember to turn off lights and air-conditioners when not needed.  I wonder of your child will start prompting you to do so at home as well.  Please do share  with their class teacher if your child demonstrates any environmental activism.

Birthdays

This week we have had the following students celebrating:

Victoria (4D) on the 16th and Gaia (4D) on the 19th.

Miss Keri Keelan is also celebrating on the 15th.  We hope you all have a great day.
