Living our Values

We are : Balanced and Fulfilled

Reading Books

Book change days are Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. On these days your child will come home with a reading book that is selected based on their reading level. Please spend time listening to your child reading these books at home. These should be returned to school in time for the next book change day, if your child is ready. If books are not returned to school, we are unable to change their book.

Supporting our Year 1 students

To support our Year 1 students and ensure consistency, please can parents and nannies observe our stop and go signs, and walk around the building to drop students off. This is because during the school day, the children are expected to walk around our building, and are not allowed to cut through the middle of the building. By supporting them with this before and after school, the children will be clear of our expectations and will be less likely to get confused. Many thanks for your support with this.

Well-Being

Developing independence and setting routines

To support your child with routines, it is helpful to go through their timetable each day and support them with packing their bags and ensuring they have everything they need for the day.

One of our wonderful parents has shared a timetable that they use to support their child at home. Although the images are of the boy's school uniform, this could easily be adapted to suit your child

Learning

Junk Modelling

Please send in any empty, clean boxes and containers for junk-modelling. We are also looking for spray bottles, kitchen rolls and containers with pumps. The children learn so much through junk modelling and have lots of fun as well!

Global Citizenship

The Prostheses Foundation of Thailand                                                                                                   We would like to ask for families to collect 'ring pulls' and bring these into school. You can either deliver them to the drop-off point in the primary office or send them in to your child's teacher. The organisation uses ring pull donations to purchase a higher grade, more flexible material made from aluminium and steel to make artificial limbs. This process meets the international standard ISO 10328 for artificial limbs and ensures that the durability of the prosthetic is increased and patient safety is improved.
