Today the children from 1M experienced some of the excitement of Pancake Day (aka Shrove Tuesday) which is celebrated in many places around the world. The children learnt a little about the meaning of Pancake Day and why some people celebrate it, and then made pancakes following the recipe. We all then chose different toppings and ate them.
