Today we celebrated the marriage between Wallace and Wendolene, supported by many of their family and friends. Everyone looked so smart in their wedding clothes, especially the bride and groom who had definitely made a real effort (with a little help from the children!).
The ceremony started with the guests arriving and taking their seats, before Wallace (looking a little nervous!) walked down the aisle and waited for Wendolene. When she arrived, we played some traditional wedding music and everyone looked in awe at the beautiful bride. Then, the marriage official started the greetings and the vows, before declaring the happy couple officially married. After the customary first kiss, the couple led the procession back to the wedding venue, where everyone enjoyed the cutting of the cake and the wedding feast, followed by the speeches and the throwing of the bouquet. Everyone agreed that the wedding had been a huge success and we all wished Wallace and Wendolene a happy life together. They left for their honeymoon at a secret location!
