Today was Tiger Spirit day at Patana as our school mascot is the Tiger and our sports teams are known as the Patana Tigers. Primary was a sea of orange and black costumes as everybody dressed up in their tiger costumes or wore the Patana school colours.
1L had a wonderful time at our KS1 assembly where we watched a very messy version of the story " The Tiger Who Came to Tea" and sang our favourite Tiger songs
The children were very excited to meet up with their buddy class 4M for a tiger day maths Trail. It was wonderful to see the year 4 students pair up with a Year 1 buddy and together they solved the clues in the Tiger maths trail. . The children did really well and along with solving the problem collected a jumble of different letters which eventually spelt out " TIGER SPIRIT DAY ! "
We have enjoyed sharing this story over the past week as we think about when we were babies and how we have grown and changed.
