What's New: Student Environmental Committee (SEC) Blog
Every week we do a project such as videoing teachers and students about their small steps to stop wasting plastic. We also make posters to inform the school about what we do such as how we changed our learning books paper into recycled paper from tetra paks. The tetra paks that we use to produce our recycled exercise books also come from our school's recycling system in which students help to recycle their own waste. Besides that, other things we do during the ECA include editing and updating our 'Green Patana' website to contain up-to-date information on current environmental world news, as well as news in school.
This weekend, Year 10 students, Liam Coutts and Sandra Chen headed out with their filming equipment to talk to local market vendors about their environmental concerns and found themselves made very welcome by the community at Bangna Market.
