Good Morning!
We love to see what you are learning at home!
Look who is riding her bike!
Thank you for sharing your special moments at home. Here are some of them...
Can you find pictures of your friends?
These are some ideas for learning at home today. Parents please remember that there is no expectation to complete all of these! Keeping a routine for your child and maintaining contact with school are the most important thing.

Goose On the Farm
Please expand this video to full screen.
Which animals did Sophie and goose meet on the farm?
Can you talk about the characters from the story?
Do you have toy farm animals at home? You could make gloop or playdough for your animals, or collect real things from outside to play with your animals in.
Sensory play is not only fun but it helps cognitive development, problem solving skills, motor skills and language skills.
ILD: We would love you to upload an ILD observation of your child talking about the story and playing with their own animals and using their imagination.
Snack Time
Can you help to clean up after snack?
Early Phonics Skills
Echo sounds!
Head to an echo-y room, like your bathroom and look in the mirror. Your parent will have a go making a long sound with a changing pitch (eeeeeeeeeee)? Can you repeat it? Have another go with another long sound (oooooooo). Can you make the sound just like your parent?
Phonics Phase 1: Tuning accurately into vocal sounds prepares children to orally blend and segment, a necessary step on their journey to reading and writing.
Lunchtime!
Enjoy your lunch FSN don’t forget to tidy up afterwards too.
Our independence in our health and self care skills are really important. We expect the children to use their spoon confidently and to drink well without spilling.

Using ILD
ILD is the platform Foundation Stage use for sharing learning. Sending pictures and videos here allows teachers to give personalised feedback on children's learning. A gentle reminder that teachers are unable to provide feedback via email or Teams chat. A parent guide of how to use this platform is in the document below.
We would love you to upload an ILD observation of your child learning today.
Have a wonderful day of learning at home today!
