Welcome to the Nursery learning page. Don't forget to register each morning on the opening page.
Good Morning!
We love to see what you are learning at home!
Thank you for sharing your special moments at home. Here are some of them...
Can you find pictures of your friends?
Using ILD
ILD is the platform Foundation Stage use for sharing learning. Sending pictures and videos here allows teachers to give personalised feedback on children's learning. A gentle reminder that teachers are unable to provide feedback via email or Teams chat. A parent guide of how to use this platform is in the document below.
These are some ideas for learning at home today. Parents please remember that there is no expectation to complete all of these! Keeping a routine for your child and maintaining contact with school are the most important thing.
Wake Up Song
"Action songs not only develop language as children learn the words but also support the development of your child's gross motor skills such as balance, strength and coordination. "
Top Tip - Expand to full screen on all video links to get the best view!
You can display this page onto your television too to get an even better view!
Today's story time is..
‘The very hungry Caterpillar’ read By Ms Jane and Ms Noo;
Which foods would the hungry caterpillar buy from your shop?
Today, we would love you to upload an ILD observation of your child talking about what happened to the caterpillar and how he changed over time.
Due to potential copyright issues, please do not download or share this story - thank you.
Expressive Arts and Design
This area of learning is rooted in physical development and the ability to move, explore and access creativity. We understand that being truly creative means that all creations are unique and different. What we do is teach the skills they need, for instance exploring colour and how colours can be changed, using tools safely and for a purpose, trying out different media such as paint, crayons, collage, modelling or music and movements”
Use paint or any other media to create a symmetrical butterfly.
Snack Time
“Let us know which delicious fruits you have been trying...what textures do they have? Are they crisp, crunchy, smooth, slippery, juicy, lumpy or prickly?
‘Beginning to be interested in and describe the texture of things’ is learning from Exploring media and Materials which also has links to Communication and Language. We love finding links in our learning”
We would love you to upload an ILD observation of your child chopping fruit!

Here is another recipe for clay dough or cloud dough. It has a very interesting texture but is super easy to make!"
Lunch Time
Great using the spoon to serve yourself, I wonder if you can help serve others at your table too? You can use the words…’would you like some more?’
Have a lovely lunch FSN. Remember to help tidy up after.
Today’s song time is….
Nap Time!
If you usually have a nap after lunch, have a lovely sleep!
This is the music that we use in the sleep room everyday to help to settle the children to sleep:
