Well-Being Calls
You should have received email communication from your class teacher regarding your wellbeing calls this morning. Please re-familiarise yourself with the reminders below:
Good Morning Nursery!
Below are some ideas for learning at home today. A reminder that you don't have to do all (or any) of these today. Maintaining a routine and a connection with school are the most important things!
Wake Up Music!
This week we are being...
The Gruffalo!
Today the mouse meets the Owl! Would you like to have tea in a treetop house? Have a go at re-telling the story or making Owl Ice Cream!
See how we used bits and bobs from inside and outside our house to create these characters to re-tell the scene:
Miss Jane re-tells using puppets
Snack Time!
Can you make a healthy owl snack?
Owl Ice Cream!
We can't wait to see what you create in the kitchen in ILD!
Did you know that some owls have VERY long legs!!
Well Being
Moving Like the Animals Do!
Animal walks are a great way to develop body awareness and motor skills. It strengthens core muscles and improves coordination.
Animal walks can help to calm anxiety, release excess energy and helps children refocus if they are used as a brain break between learning activities. Watch the video and follow the instructions.
Share your animal walks on ILD!
Phase 1 Phonics - Voice Sounds
'Voice Sounds' is how we begin to prepare our youngest children to pronounce a range of sounds ready for pronouncing phonemes later in their phonics journey! Maybe you can record yourself making all of these animal sounds and send it to us on ILD!

Are You Ready for Cooking This Week?
Tomorrow we'll make Scrambled Snake! You can use spaghetti, pasta or eggs! Something green to go in might be a good idea too - maybe peas, green beans, morning glory.....its up to you!
