Well-being Calls
Your class teachers are all really excited about seeing you this morning on Microsoft Teams. We can't wait to hear all about your holidays.
Don't forget, that during our wellbeing calls:
- we make sure a grown up is always nearby
- we are fully dressed
- we don't eat whilst on a call
- we wait for our class teacher to start the call

Imaginative Stories
Today we are going to explore another favourite imaginative story, Not a Stick! In this story the main character uses his impressive imagination to play with a stick in a wide variety of ways. While you read this story, you can practice your predicting skills by guessing what the character is pretending his stick represents. Did you get any of your predictions right? What else could the stick represent?
วันนี้นักเรียนจะสำรวจเรื่องที่นักเรียนชอบโดยใช้จินตนาการกันนะคะ ซึ่งเรื่องนี้คือ เรื่องมันไม่ใช่กิ่งไม้ค่ะ ในเรื่องนี้ตัวละครหลักนักเรียนจะใช้กิ่งไม้อะไรก็ได้ในการเล่นละครเรื่องนี้ค่ะ โดยใช้จินตนาการแสดงเป็นตัวละครที่น่าประทับใจหลากหลายแบบกันนะคะ เฉพาะฉะนั้นตอนที่นักเรียนอ่านนิทานเรื่องนี้นักเรียนยังสามารถฝึกฝนโดยใช้ทักษะในการทำนายล่วงหน้าในการเดาว่าตัวละครนี้จะแกล้งแสดงเป็นตัวละครอะไรก็ได้ค่ะ นักเรียนได้ทายตัวละครแบบอื่นอื่นตามจินตนาการกันถูกบ้างมั้ยคะ นักเรียนคิดว่าตัวละครไม้นี้สามารถแสดงเป็นอะไรได้บ้างอีกคะ

For Parents -
As children begin to write sentences rather than single words, and particularly as they start to write several sentences, they need to be able to mark the sentence boundaries with punctuation. It is difficult to give a meaningful explanation of what a sentence is, but through experiences such as shared reading and particularly shared writing, and the discussion of sentence punctuation, children can develop a sense of what sentences are. For today’s activity, model writing simple captions and sentences to match pictures from the story with your child. Use the sound chart and word bank to model the process to them.
