This week in FS we are using the ‘Little Helpers’ books by our visiting author Claire Culliford to inspire us to do more to take care of our world!
Today’s book is, Penny Helps Protect the Polar Ice Caps! Listen to the story to hear what a good helper she is!
สำหรับอาทิตย์นี้ในFS พวกเราจะใช้หนังสือเรื่อง' Little Helpers'และจะมีนักเขียนชื่อ แคลร์ คูลลิฟอร์ดเพื่อเป็นแรงบันดาลใจสำหรับนักเรียนในการดูแลรักษาโลกของเรานะคะ ส่วนชื่อหนังสือสำหรับวันนี้มีชื่อเรื่องว่า' เพนนีช่วยปกป้องหมวกน้ำแข็งขั้วโลก' ค่ะ นักเรียนลองฟังนิทานเรื่องนี้ดูนะคะว่า การเป็นผู้ช่วยที่ดีของเพนนีจะช่วยปกป้องโลกของเราได้อย่างไรค่ะ
In Penny’s story, she looks after her frozen home by encouraging her friends to cover up their ice cap with an umbrella. Ms Elizabeth got curious to see if Penny’s idea would really work. Does ice stay frozen if it’s shaded? What happens if it’s in the sun? Is there anything else we can do to keep ice from melting outside?
ในนิทานเรื่องนี้เป็นเกี่ยวกับเพนกวินชื่อเพนนีที่ทำหน้าที่ดูแลบ้านน้ำแข็งค่ะ เพนนีให้กำลังใจเพื่อนๆของเธอในการคลุมที่ครอบน้ำแข็งด้วยร่มด้วยค่ะ
มิสอลิซาเบธอยากรู้ว่าความคิดของเพนนีจะได้ผลมั้ยคะ นักเรียนคิดว่าน้ำแข็งนี้จะยังแข็งอยู่มั้ยถ้าอยู่ในที่ร่มค่ะ จะเกิดอะไรขึ้นคะถ้าเอาที่ครอบน้ำแข็งไปไว้ดวงอาทิตย์คะ จะวิธีไหนบ้างคะที่พวกเราสามารถทำได้โดยที่จะทำให้น้ำแข็งไม่ละลายข้างนอกกันบ้างคะ
