This week in Foundation Stage, we are going to be.......
Last week the world celebrated Earth Day! The special day has inspired your teachers to find ways to make the Earth safer and healthier for all of its living things. We were hoping you could help us find ways to look after Earth, too! This week we are going to keep using our inquiry skills, but we will use those skills to answer our questions about how we can look after the world around us. We are going to be Little Earth Helpers.

This could take many different forms, and it is open-ended, just as our discoveries were last week. Whatever area your child is interested in, and wherever they want to take their inquiry, they are welcome to. You can use the resources here to find a particular Earth issue that your child is interested in. Throughout the week, you can watch our staff model posing inquiry questions, you can read our Earth Helper themed books, and you can look at our daily conservation challenges. Use these ideas to get you started, or go ahead and follow your existing interests.
