Wellbeing Calls
You should have received email communication from your class teacher regarding your wellbeing calls this morning. Please re-familiarize yourself with the reminders below:
Reminders
Your class teachers are all really excited about seeing you this morning on Microsoft Teams.
Don't forget, that during our wellbeing calls:
we make sure a grown up is always nearby
we are fully dressed
we don't eat whilst on a call
we wait for our class teacher to start the call
คุณครูประจำชั้นของเด็กๆ ตื่นเต้นกันมากเลยค่ะ ที่จะได้เจอเด็กๆ ผ่าน Microsoft Teams
Below are some ideas for learning at home today. A reminder that you don't have to do all (or any) of these today. Maintaining a routine and a connection with school are the most important things!
Wake Up, Shake Up!
We wanted to wish you a very happy 'good morning' today, despite not seeing you in person!
We would love to hear about what you have been doing during the Sonkran break, perhaps you were travelling to different parts of Thailand, or maybe you stayed at home and enjoyed family time in Bangkok. Did you celebrate the festival itself? If so, how did you celebrate?
Our teachers had a very busy time...

Could you make a video telling us what you did over the holiday and share it with your class teacher on ILD? Maybe you could share some photos, or draw some pictures too?

Information about being a Little Explorer and Inquiry Based Learning
Being a 'Little Explorer' can take many different forms and, just like our play, it is open-ended. Whatever your child is interested in, and wherever they want to take their inquiry, they are welcome to. Have a look at our visual to illustrate how young children follow a line of inquiry:
Inquiry-based learning helps our children to stay curious and motivated to keep learning. In Foundation Stage, children's imaginations are rich with curiosity and this week's learning gives your child the space to explore anything they are interested in.
Learning from real life experiences is always a wonderful way to motivate children. They may wish to find out more about something they found interesting during the school break, or perhaps go out and explore their garden, park or wider environment. They might be interested in learning more about their family, community or a culture further afield.
To support your child in becoming a 'Little Explorer', read our Explorer themed books and look at our daily exploration challenges. You can use these ideas to get you started, or go ahead and follow your child's existing interests.

Are you ready to be an explorer? An explorer is anyone who wants to find out something new. Today, we would like you to think about what you would like to explore and find out more about.
Can you use any of these questions words:
Need some inspiration?
After doing lots of diving over the holidays and seeing some wonderful things, Miss Sarah and Miss Louise have decided that they want to find out more about some of the creatures that live in the oceans surrounding Thailand.
They watched this video for inspiration:
'Let's Go Live' is a great YouTube Channel to spark interest and inspirations of what your child may wish to explore: www.youtube.com/user/maddiemoate
Can you share your questions, or what you have decided to 'explore', with your class teacher via ILD?

Create your own bowling game with a twist. Instead of using your arm to throw and roll a ball to hit the pins, use your foot. This is a wonderful game to practice your kicking skills.
2 tablespoons of dish washing soap, liquid detergent or baby soap.
¼ cup water
A few drops of food colouring (optional)
A mixer
Mix it all up for a couple of minutes and put it in a big container. Make as much as you need for your child to explore. If your child has sensitive skin, use baby soap.
