Good morning FS1 and FS2: click the links to find the video from your class teacher!
We have had so much wonderful learning shared from home that we have now created a 'Sharing Our Learning' gallery on the main page so we can keep on adding more!
These are some ideas for learning at home today. A reminder that you don't have to do all (or any) of these today. Maintaining a routine and a connection with school are the most important things!
This week in Foundation Stage we are going to be...
Parents...
Inquiry-based learning helps our children to stay curious and motivated to keep learning. Look at the phases that inquiry-based learning might take in the diagram below. You might go through all the stages in one day, or spend more time at each stage and explore a topic throughout the week.Remember, if your child needs some inspiration to choose a line of inquiry today, you could watch our teachers modelling the inquiry questions they have, read our explorer-themed daily book or try our explorer-themed daily challenge.

What's the Time, Mr Wolf?
This game involves children using both Math and PD skills. One person is the Wolf. The other children need to ask, ‘What’s the time Mr Wolf’?. The Wolf will give a time for example, two o’clock. This means the children take two steps forward. The children keep asking the Wolf the time until the Wolf yells ‘DINNER TIME’. The Wolf catches one child and that child becomes the next Wolf.

Sensory play: Star That You Are
Everyone has something that they are good at. Everyone has a twinkle. What’s yours? Whatever you are good at, whatever makes you feel good, that’s your twinkle.
Talk to your child and ask them these questions: What are you good at? What can you do? What makes you feel good?
Ask your child to decorate one side of a star shaped piece of paper any way they like. Use the template provided if you wish. On the other side, you can write down what they say they are good at. This activity builds self esteem and helps children to identify their inner strength and talents.
