We have had so much wonderful learning shared from home that we have now created a 'Sharing Our Learning' gallery on the main page so we can keep on adding more!
These are some ideas for learning at home today. A reminder that you don't have to do all (or any) of these today. Maintaining a routine and a connection with school are the most important things!
This week in Foundation Stage we are going to be...
Parents...
Inquiry-based learning helps our children to stay curious and motivated to keep learning. Look at the phases that inquiry-based learning might take in the diagram below. You might go through all the stages in one day, or spend more time at each stage and explore a topic throughout the week.Remember, if your child needs some inspiration to choose a line of inquiry today, you could watch our teachers modelling the inquiry questions they have, read our explorer-themed daily book or try our explorer-themed daily challenge.

Sensory play: making ice lollie
For today’s sensory play, make your own ice lolly using your favourite fruit!
1) Make a list of the fruit that you would like to add to your ice lollies.
2) Blend the fruits in a mixer.
3) Pour the mixture in a container and freeze it.
Talking point: How long do you think it will take to freeze? What will happen to the fruit mixture? I wonder why that happens.
4) Enjoy your cool, refreshing, healthy ice lolly! Share your recipe on ILD for your teacher to try.
