There are no videos or well-being calls today as all staff are in school preparing for a hopeful return to school on June 1st.

We have had so much wonderful learning shared from home that we have now created a 'Sharing Our Learning' gallery on the main page so we can keep on adding more!

These are some ideas for learning at home today. A reminder that you don't have to do all (or any) of these today. Maintaining a routine and a connection with school are the most important things!

How was your week? How did it feel to approach the learning this week by following your child’s interests and simply play? Do you have one takeaway for something new you discovered this week? In school, we prompt deeper learning through reflection by asking ourselves and the children: “What challenged you?” This is to encourage us to see challenge as a positive way to move our understanding forwards. Today, we are suggesting that you watch the video on how to use reflection with your child to deepen learning - click on the Review and Extend icon, or watch the video below.

สำหรับเด็กๆนะคะ พวกเราชอบการที่ได้เห็นเด็กๆเล่นที่บ้านมากๆเลยค่ะ คุณครูสงสัยว่าวันนี้เด็กๆจะทำอะไรกันดีคะ? เด็กๆจะใช้ของเล่นหรืออุปกรณ์อะไร จะค้นพบไอเดียอะไรบ้าง คุณครูสงสัยว่าการเล่นของเด็กๆวันนี้จะมีเรื่องราวไหมคะ บางทีเด็กเด็กอาจจะอยากใช้ไอเดียจากหนังสือ Not A Stick (มันไม่ใช่กิ่งไม้) ก็ได้นะคะ กิ่งไม้ของเด็กๆสามารถเป็นอะไรได้บ้างคะ เด็กๆสามารถใช้จินตนาการให้ออกมาได้หลายๆแบบเลยค่ะ!

Birthday Corner

There are no birthdays in FS today but congratulations to Arthur (FSL), Ruien (FSC), Caden (FSD) and Claudia (FSH) who celebrate their special day over the weekend! We hope you have a very happy birthday - from all your friends in the Foundation Stage!

Sensory Play - smoothie making!

This activity focuses on your sense of taste. What would you like to have in your smoothie? Make a list of the fruits that you want in your smoothie. Choose 3 from what you have available at home. Put it all in a blender, blend it up and drink it. How does it taste? Can you put your recipes on ILD for your friends to try.

Phonics!

FS1 - Sharing Sock Puppet Revisited!

Watch and play a sock puppet game with Ms Elizabeth! You have a try! Collect and display a few small objects. Bring out your sock puppet and carefully help your puppet to name one of the objects in his sound talk language. The toy then sound-talks the word leaving a short gap between each sound. You can say the word in sound talk language and in your language, too!

Adults, this can be a very tricky skill. Please stay positive and provide as little or as much support as your child needs!
