Air Quality

Air Quality Information - Helen Thew, Cross Campus Principal

Air Quality levels are posted on our Students’, Parents’ and Staff Firefly Dashboards.

Links to our policies and procedures can be found here.

Air Quality levels are automatically read three times a day: Early morning, 11.00am and 1.30pm.

To further understand what happens when air quality levels reach higher than normal levels, please access the presentation given to parents in November here.

Students may come to school wearing masks, but they are not obligated to do so.

With our new pre-cooled, fresh air systems in place, students can then remove their masks when they come into class.

Whilst on residential, air quality will be frequently monitored and provision will be adapted accordingly.

Learning

Residential information

Finally, the time has come for us to pack up and head off on our residential.

Here are some final messages that we would like to share with our students and parents:

1. All students must wear that Patana PE t shirt for the journey. They will also be given a residential hat, which they must bring with them on the day.

2. Students must drop their bags off at the front of school in the section marked with their class name. Please ensure that luggage tags are securely fastened to your child's bag.

3. Students must make their way to the Conference room to register with their class teacher.

4. Parents or students must give any medication to the school nurse who will be available at the front of school.

5. Please check all snacks before sending them into school. We are a nut-free school, and we have also asked students to avoid snacks containing seafood as we have some students with serious allergies.

6.  If you are running late on Monday morning, please let your child's class teacher know.

PE lessons : Monday 27th Jan to Friday 7th Feb

PE lessons will continue during residential weeks for those classes that are in School.

There is likely to be a change of teacher, activity or mix of classes taught together whilst we cover those children and teachers who are away on residential.

Please remember to bring your PE kit to School, including football boots!

Many thanks

Primary PE Team.

Birthdays:

Nut free Primary School

For some children, any exposure to nuts is potentially very dangerous and can be life threatening.

We do not allow any nuts to be brought into Primary. This includes snacks on school transport, birthday treats and food items brought in for any other special days.

Happy Birthday to all the Year 6 students who have a birthday this week.
