Learning Task: 

Read the “Sports from around the World” document and see if you can practise skills from sports that you may never have heard of!

If today’s activity does not work for you why not take advantage of any outside space and the cooler weather to enjoy some outdoor activity such as riding your bike, swimming or playing some outdoor games. LI: Can I write complex sentences and use direct speech?

Learning Task: 

 Wait for your teacher to start the Live Lesson call. 

Think back to the two most recent skills you have learnt in Literacy.

Instructions: 

1. When your teacher has finished giving the introduction to the lesson, access the instructions on Seesaw and open the template. 

2. Complete the piece of writing. 

3. When you have finished, submit as a draft (the orange tick). 

4. You will receive feedback and then have the opportunity to edit your writing on Monday.

EL: Using the same picture, extend your learning by introducing a third character (like the last activity) or changing scenes in a second paragraph and continuing their adventure.

Connected Learning

LI: Can I ask and answer questions using research?

Learning Instructions: 

1. You will make a copy of the google slides and write your answers on the slides. 

2. Do you know any of the landmarks in the google slides add their names to pages. How could you find out ones that you do not know?

3. Pick a landmark and answer the questions:

a) What can I infer from the picture?

b) What do I know about the picture?

c) What do I see in the picture? 

4. Now design some questions of your own that would help you find out more about this landmark.

5. Follow Ms Tracey's instructions and complete a Venn Diagram

There is a lot of learning to complete here and we will continue this learning during our Connected Learning session on Friday.
