Term 2 may be 11 weeks long, but it always feels as though it passes quickly, filled with opportunities to learn, celebrate and come together as a community. From Primary Play in a Day, Wasteless Week, Performance Week, Science Week and World Book Day, there is much for our students to look forward to and enjoy. Alongside this, we have our Year 3 Residentials, PTG Fun Day, the Language Olympiad, Smile Day, as well as a range of day trips, sporting events and competitions.

This week, I would like to draw your attention to a feature in today’s Patana News celebrating an important development within our Primary team, the strengthening of our Teaching Assistant leadership pathway.
Teaching Assistants play a vital role in the life of our school. They support learning, nurture wellbeing, and help ensure that every child feels known, included, and able to succeed. This new structure recognises both their impact and their potential to lead.
A note from the Principal - 19/3/26
A big well done to all of our students who took part in the second Language Olympiad on Wednesday. It was brilliant to have 13 schools from across Thailand here at Patana, all coming together to celebrate languages, culture and global citizenship. The energy across the day was fantastic.
Year 5 followed that up on Thursday with their Charity Bake Sale, which was a huge success. There was a real buzz around it, and we are very grateful to everyone who baked, bought and supported so generously.

This week I have been reflecting on the wider opportunities our students experience beyond the classroom. The highlight for many was our Year 3 students heading off to Pattaya for their first Residential. It is always a special milestone, with lots of learning taking place as students spend time away from home, growing in independence and confidence.
At the same time, other students have been representing the school at different events, including the Year 5 Readers Cup, FOBISIA Music and gymnastics in Singapore. It has certainly been a busy and exciting week, with students pursuing their interests, performing, competing, and representing Bangkok Patana with pride!
