Thank you for your generosity!

Principal's Note

19-06-2026

This is our last newsletter of the academic year, and that leaves only one thing to say – thank you.

Thank you to our students for the enthusiasm, kindness and determination they bring to school each day. Thank you to our parents for your continued partnership, trust and support throughout the year. And thank you to our incredible staff, whose care, commitment and professionalism make such a difference to the lives of our children every single day.

Wishing the Patana community a wonderful end of term and a brilliant summer break when it arrives!

Final Book Change

Please note that Monday 22nd June will be the final book change for Year 1 children. Please send in all 'home readers' as well as library books to return.

Class Lists 2026

New class lists will be sent out in the final week of Term 3.

  • You will be able to click on the link in the letter hear a welcome message from their new teacher.
  •  If you child is currently in Year 1, Year 3, or Year 5, there are no changes to their existing class.
  •  If your child is currently in Nursery, FS1, FS2, Y2 or Y4, they will be placed in a newly mixed class.
  • Most children will be pleased and excited, but some may feel worried when they see their new class list.
  • Some will have hoped to be placed with a particular friend - and will expect you to fix the problem for them.
  •  Please support your child in dealing with any initial disappointments, and share any ongoing worries with their new class teacher.
  • Our teachers are very skilled at helping children to build a new, cohesive class identity.

Year 1 Curriculum

Temporary Guardianship Form

Temporary Guardianship Form - let us know if both parents are going away and leaving a student with a friend, nanny or a maid.

Class birthday celebrations

We enjoy mini birthday celebrations in class but ask that you pre-arrange a time with the teacher.

Please note, this is a small celebration within the class. It is not a ‘birthday party’ and siblings and friends from other classes are not allowed to attend.

Birthday treats should be small, with minimal plastic wrapping. Please only send enough for your child’s class.

Individual portions such as small brownies, small cupcakes, and half-donuts are easy to give out.

All food sent into school must be nut free.

As school policy, we do not give out party bags, drinks or gifts sent in by families.

Please do not give out any of these items at school as this can cause unintended problems.

Taking photos and videos of students on Campus

At Bangkok Patana School we welcome parents on to our campus.

As part of this agreement, all parents must agree to our Parents’ Safeguarding Code of Conduct.

This includes:

Never taking images in toilets, changing rooms or areas where privacy is expected.

Using judgement before taking and before sharing images of students.

During a regular school day, parents may only take images of their own child – unless they have sought and received permission from another family to include their child in a group photo.

Family employees with access to the campus must also abide by this rule.
