Safeguarding Presentation for Parent Volunteers
Dear Primary Parents,
Parent volunteers are a great help in our year groups.
As part of our Student Safeguarding, any parent who may be in direct and regular contact with students is required to complete a three-step process.
- Attend a Safeguarding presentation.
The next session is scheduled for Friday 2nd October at 0800 am.
- Read and sign the most recently updated Parent Safeguarding Code of Conduct.
- Read and sign a Self-Disclosure form confirming that you have never been subject to any investigation with reference to children or young people.
The presentation will be held in the Primary Hall. Please sign up via this link.
We will have hard copies of the Parent Code of Conduct and Self-Declaration Form (attached) ready for you to sign, or you can print and bring with you.
Parent volunteers are required to attend a presentation every two years.
If you attended volunteer training in September 2024 or earlier, please attend this session.

Important Information
Temporary Guardianship
If both parents are travelling and your child will be left with an alternative family member, friend or nanny, please complete the form below and submit to the Admissions Department BEFORE you leave.
Nut Free Primary School
We do not allow any nuts to be brought into the Primary School. This includes snacks on school transport, birthday treats and food items brought in for any other special days.
Some treats, such as macarons contain hidden nuts. Please check the ingredients before sending into school. If snacks or birthday treats are found to contain nuts, we will contact you and either dispose of the food safely or ask you to collect and take back home.
Learning
Junk Modelling Request
Reading
The children will be changing their reading books every Monday, Wednesday and Friday.
Please support your child by reading with them everyday and reminding them to bring in their books (if finished) on book change days.
PE Days
A reminder that on your child's PE days, they should wear their PE kit to school. This should be paired with well-fitted, supportive trainers.
Swimming
Swimming is an important part of the curriculum at Bangkok Patana School. If three sessions are missed consecutively, you will be asked to provide a medical certificate.
