The Outdoor Classroom

Just to the side of the school playing fields, opposite the school, on the other side of Soi Lasalle, is the amazing outdoor classroom. This is a wild, nature area where the students can explore and discover all the different wildlife that lives there. Today 1E, 1J, 1L, and 1G  all went over to explore this wild area. They engaged in a variety of activities including: pond dipping, digging in the earth, swishing large nets in the long grass and reeds, leaf rubbing,hiking out on a trail around the pond and using i pads and cameras to capture close up shots of plants animals in the area. The children had such an exciting time and discovered lots of interesting wildlife including water nymphs, snails, fish, tadpoles, spiders, worms, frogs, toads, grasshoppers, dragonflies, bees, centipedes ants ladybirds and lizards.
