Today, year 1 went on a fantastic trip to a local temple. It was very hot but the children were engaged and enthusiastic about their learning and we enjoyed a brilliant day. There were many activities, some of which we did independently and some of which were lead by our Thai Team. They included; folding lotus flowers, feeding the fish, sketching statues of Lord Buddha, signing a roof tile, donating money into alms bowls, placing gold leaf on a statue of the Buddha and paying our respects with incense and candles. What a wonderful experience!
