Good Morning Nursery!
Below are some ideas for learning at home today. A reminder that you don't have to do all (or any) of these today. Maintaining a routine and a connection with school are the most important things!
Wake Up Music!
This week we are being...
Last week the world celebrated Earth Day! The special day has inspired your teachers to find ways to make the Earth safer and healthier for all of its living things. We were hoping you could help us find ways to look after Earth, too!
Reducing Our Food Waste!
I try to eat every bite on my plate. I wonder what is your favourite food? Can you show us what it looks like? You could draw this on a paper plate or circle of paper, you could make it from playdough or perhaps you can think of another way to show us.
We try to eat all of the food on our plates and not take more than we need.
Thai:
Please share your favourite food plate with us on ILD and show us how you can reduce food waste at home!
Snack Time!
Why not switch a meaty snack for a fruity snack today. Eating fruit and veg is much better for our world than eating lots of meat!
Physical Development
Using a balloon, hit the balloon up as high as you can and follow it wherever it goes. Don't let that balloon touch the ground. For an extra challenge, after hitting the balloon up in the air do one star jump, then hit the balloon again. Have fun.
Share with us balloon patting experiences!
