Well-Being Calls
You should have received email communication from your class teacher regarding your wellbeing calls this morning. Please re-familiarise yourself with the reminders below:
Good Morning Nursery!
Below are some ideas for learning at home today. A reminder that you don't have to do all (or any) of these today. Maintaining a routine and a connection with school are the most important things!
Wake Up Music!
This week we are being...
The Gruffalo!
Who is this on the mouse’s journey? Oh, what? Oh, no! It’s a Gruffalo!
Today you might like to have a go re-telling the final part of the story - where the mouse meets the Gruffalo! A Gruffalo, why didn’t you know? What might your Gruffalo look like? What might he sound like?
Miss Sophie uses toys to re-tell this part of the story!
Luckily, the mouse is very clever. He thinks on his feet and is even able to scare the Gruffalo!
Now that we’ve reached the end of the story, you might want to retell the whole tale. You can tell the story in any way that suits you - you could dress up or use puppets. You could use lego or your favourite toys! We can’t wait to see your storytelling on ILD!
If you’re interested in some more Gruffalo fun, check out some other ideas below:

Snack Time!
Pancakes are delicious! Watch Miss Elizabeth making Purple Prickles Pancakes! What will you make for snack today?
We can't wait to see what you create in the kitchen in ILD!
Make a Deep Dark Wood!
Sensory Play
For today’s sensory play, make your own ice lolly.
Make a list of the fruit you would like to add, put them in the blender and freeze it. I wonder what you will choose?
