This week, we will continue to think about the question word,'why?'

Tiger Spirit Week
Guidance- English
Our Foundation Stage building is so big, that it doesn’t take just two people to keep it clean. There are even more kind and helpful Tigers!
Today, say hello to Khun Aree and Khun Pranee. Just like Khun Wijiffra and Khun Kongphet, they come to school everyday to make sure our classrooms, learning spaces and resources are clean, fresh and ready for us to explore.
At Patana we are so lucky to have lots of learning resources. But, having so many means there are many to clean! Khun Aree and Khun Pranee always make sure your learning equipment is germ-free and safe to use.
What sort of products do you think they might use to keep our resources clean? Have a look around your home. What do you and your family use to keep your toys and playthings clean?
Today, you might like to wash some of your favourite toys. Think about their materials - what they’re made of - and, with your adults, decide on the best way to get your toys clean!
When we’re back in school, we might need Khun Aree and Khun Pranee to help us when we’ve made a big mess. We are always polite when we ask for help, so we use the word please in our question. Check out how your teachers might ask for help.
Get some ice trays and blue and white coloured pom poms (resource pack). Put two pom poms into each section of the ice tray and then fill them with water. Make ice cubes too. You can also add a drop of blue food colouring into a few of the ice cubes. Place them in the freezer overnight in order to ensure that they freeze completely.
Collect some coloured bowls and cups (blue and white if you have them). Some spoons, a serving spoon and a soup ladle.
Once your pom poms have frozen, break them out and place them into a large container and then add about an inch or two of cold water. Cold water will help to keep the pom poms from thawing too quickly.
You could add a drop of blue food colouring in the container.
Your child might want to:
Make winter soup for a doll, teddy bear or Lego figure toy.
Use their imagination to add small world toys while playing and discovering the icy pom poms.
We really love to see videos and photos of what you have been doing at home. The best way to share this with us is via the Seesaw App. You should have received communication about how to download and login to the app. If you have not received this, please email the ISIT helpdesk- helpdesk@patana.ac.th
